Sleep problems encompass a variety of complaints related to sleep, including difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep, or having restorative sleep. Establishing the underlying causes is part of the medical assessment.
The medical assessment takes into account the individual history, the course of previous treatment as well as possible accompanying conditions and interactions.
Whether and which treatment is medically indicated in the individual case is assessed by a physician. A treatment outcome cannot be promised.
Legal and financial aspects
In Germany, medical cannabis is prescription-only and may be dispensed only on the basis of a medical prescription. With telemedical private prescriptions, patients generally bear the costs themselves. Reimbursement by the statutory health insurance is a separate, formal process. Dispensing takes place exclusively through pharmacies.

- Private prescription: with telemedical treatment the prescription is generally issued privately.
- Who bears the cost: costs are generally borne by the patient; reimbursement must be applied for separately.

The scientific evidence on medical cannabis for sleep problems is limited and is assessed by a physician in each individual case.

Which treatments have already been carried out and how they were tolerated is taken into account.
Accompanying symptoms and interactions
Accompanying conditions, other medicines and possible contraindications are taken into account. The treating physician decides on this basis.

Die Gebühr für die Behandlungsanfrage beträgt 14,99 €. Sie deckt die Bearbeitung Deiner Anfrage und die ärztliche Prüfung ab. Lehnt die Ärztin oder der Arzt eine Behandlung ab, wird die Gebühr vollständig erstattet. Kommt ein Behandlungsvertrag zustande, wird sie voll auf die ärztliche Leistung angerechnet. Ein verschriebenes Arzneimittel rechnet die Apotheke gesondert ab.
